Principles of Treatment

Principles of treatment are much needed for the treatment of all infectious diseases for two major reasons. The first reason is to deteriorate the effects of symptoms of the disease, and the second is to kill the cause (microbes) of diseases. . We can look upon the symptoms due to inflammation ( the change or any activation in our immune system when our body suffers from any injury or Our body gets attacked by are foreign objects such as viruses or any toxic chemicals ). These functions are done by taking the medicine and providing ways to fight the microbes.

Thus, principles of treatment play a huge role in our medicinal cure industry. Our cells develop a substance called the White blood cells (WBC) which acts as an inbuilt mechanism to fight foreign objects. The foreign objects by which our body gets infected or diseased have some essential biochemical life processes which get affected by the medium of treatment we get, which enhances our healing.

Reduce the effect of diseases

Treatment is provided to reduce the symptoms. Patients are given to alleviate pain or reduce fever. Symptomatic treatments are usually preferred for patients to lessen the severity of one’s condition. Not all principles of treatment notes prescribe how to cure the infection completely as some illnesses, for example; we do not have any cure for a common cold. Thus, prevention is far better than cure sometimes.

The disease or infection is treated to ease the patient from discomfort and suffering. The only vital medium of preventing or curing the illness caused by pathogens is complete bed rest. It allows the body to rest and strengthen the immune system to repel and fight pathogens. Another way of weakening the impact of the disease is by maintaining proper hygiene, maintaining a clear atmosphere and surrounding helps readily to avoid the spread of the virus or even in early cases completely avoid the virus to interact with the body.

However, only maintaining proper hygiene does not help to eliminate the virus, it just helps to deteriorate the severity caused by the virus and improve the condition. In case of any infectious diseases using sterilized goods is the best way to keep it under control. The effects of the disease can be kept at bay by maintaining proper health standards such as eating nutritious food, maintaining hygiene and etcetera.

Kill the cause of the disease

The microbes can be killed in only one way by the use of medicine. We can classify the microbes into different categories. Every group of microbes has their respective essential biochemical life processes which are different and unique to their respective groups and not shared by other groups of the same kind. To kill the infectious microorganisms the medicine industry needed to find the type of drug that blocks the bacterial synthesis pathway but does not show any changes or put any effect in our human body cellular pathway.

Well, this process is achieved by the use of antibiotics. It is always comparatively more complicated to make any type of antiviral medicine than to make any antibacterial medicine. As said earlier every microbe group has a biochemical mechanism of its own. These microbes are more or less like parasites ( they tend to enter our body and cells and use our cell machinery to continue. Some of these viruses only aim at and attack the target organs. Likewise, we invented drugs that aim and cure and are capable of fully destroying the pathogens rather than just preventing them. For example; only a few antiviral drugs like the drug which manages and controls HIV infection.

Prevention of the disease

The British used to say that it is better and easier to stop a problem, illness, etc., from letting it happen than to stop or correct it after it has started. Our cells develop a substance called the White blood cells (WBC) which acts as an inbuilt mechanism to fight foreign objects. The foreign objects by which our body gets infected or diseased have some essential biochemical life processes which get affected by the medium of treatment we get, which enhances our healing.

Prevention is all about tackling the rising causes of ill health, this in itself is not controversial. When the cure is not readily clear in front of the patient and doctor, the doctor always tends to choose the prevention of the disease and its severity.

Conclusion

In the treatment of disease some factors and conditions should be considered, that is, time ( seasonal and climatic changes), places ( geographical factor and environment ), personal characteristics ( the way of living, age, sex, and body consistency). In the principles of treatment notes, the most commonly prescribed drugs are known to be Antimicrobial agents. Their use had a major impact on the prevention and control of infections in humans.

Most recently, an antiviral drug against HIV and hepatitis B and C have revolutionized the treatment of these infections.  The proper use of antimicrobial therapy always requires a starting clinical assessment of the nature and its severity of the infection. The choice of drug, its dose, and the power of the drugs everything depends on the capacity, traits, and condition of the patient more than the severity of the drugs. Thus the intake power of the suffering patient matters more in the global health industry.
